Marwan Attia scored the lead goal for the Pharaohs in the 70th minute, before the Benin national team equalized in the 83rd minute through Godel Dosso.
In the first extra period, Yasser Ibrahim scored the second goal for Egypt in the 97th minute, then Mohamed Salah increased the score with the third goal in the 110th minute, confirming the superiority of the Pharaohs and giving them the ticket to qualify for the quarter-finals.
With this victory, the Egyptian team continues its journey in the continental championship, as it awaits a strong confrontation in the next round against one of the qualified teams.
