The Suez Canal Economic Zone Authority announced the signing of a new contract with a leading Turkish company to establish a factory specializing in the manufacture of ready-made clothing in the Qantara West region, in a step that reflects the growing economic cooperation between Egypt and Turkey.
The project aims to enhance the economic zone’s capabilities in the field of export industries and provide new job opportunities, in addition to supporting supply chains related to the textile and clothing industry.
This deal comes within the Authority's strategy to attract foreign direct investments and develop the industrial infrastructure in the Suez Canal axis, thus consolidating its position as a regional center for trade and industry.
The authority confirmed that the agreement represents a qualitative addition to existing projects and reflects the growing confidence of foreign investors in the Egyptian investment environment, especially in light of the growing economic relations between Cairo and Ankara.
