Côte d'Ivoire.. The president announces the dissolution of the government

The office of Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara announced the dissolution of the country's government, according to a decree ending the work of the Prime Minister and members of the government.

The statement read: “On Wednesday, a decree was signed ending the duties of the Prime Minister and members of the government.”

The decision also announced the end of the duties of the ministers of state, ministers and ministerial advisors to the Presidency of the Republic in Ivory Coast.

He explained: “Moreover, under the authority of the Presidency of the Republic, a decree was signed terminating the duties of the Ministers of State, Ministers and Ministerial Advisors to the Presidency of the Republic.”

President Alassane Ouattara had won the presidential elections for a fourth five-year term, after obtaining 89.77% of the votes in the first round of the presidential elections.
