The Nigerian national team advanced to the semi-finals of the African Nations Championship after defeating the Algerian national team with two clean goals, in the match that brought them together on the grounds of the Grand Marrakesh Stadium.
Nigerian national team star Victor Osimhen succeeded in scoring the lead goal in the 47th minute, via a header, and player Akor Adams increased the lead of the “Nigerian Eagles” by adding the second goal in the 57th minute, confirming his country’s qualification for the semi-finals.
The Nigerian national team will face Morocco, the home team, in the semi-finals, on the grounds of Moulay Abdallah Stadium in Rabat, next Wednesday.
