Rwandan President Paul Kagame said that the Democratic Republic of the Congo must bear its full responsibilities regarding the crises it is experiencing, and not hold other parties responsible for problems that are not its responsibility.
Kagame explained, in a statement, that resolving the crisis in the Congo is possible if the root causes of the conflict are addressed and the responsibilities of the concerned parties are precisely defined, stressing the need to look at the Congo problem from a comprehensive perspective that takes into account its various dimensions.
He explained that a partial response to the crisis will not lead to sustainable solutions, calling for a comprehensive approach that ensures a real solution to the challenges existing in the country.
