The Somaliland presidency said that many countries will recognize the Republic of Somaliland soon.

She stated in her post on the X platform: “Many other countries will soon officially recognize the Republic of Somaliland.”

The official page of the Somaliland Presidency said, “President Abdulrahman Mohamed Abdullahi chaired a Cabinet meeting at the Presidential Palace, at a pivotal stage in the path of the modern state in the Republic of Somaliland, and reviewed the security, economic and diplomatic developments, in addition to the unified popular interaction and our readiness to interact with the world as a confident and responsible state.”

Abdul Rahman Mohamed Abdullah also addressed a New Year’s speech to “the people of Somaliland at home and in various parts of the diaspora,” stressing “national unity, the common goal, and firm confidence in the way forward.”
