Remittances from Moroccans residing abroad recorded a significant increase, reaching 111.53 billion dirhams at the end of last November, compared to 109.8 billion dirhams during the same period in 2024, according to data from the Exchange Office.
The office explained in its bulletin on monthly indicators of foreign exchanges that these transfers increased by 1.6% on an annual basis during the first eleven months of 2025.
Remittances from the Moroccan community abroad are one of the most important sources of hard currency for the Kingdom, as they contribute to supporting foreign exchange reserves and financing investments, in addition to their social role in improving the standard of living of many families.
