وقعت المغرب وإسرائيل خطة عمل عسكرية مشتركة لعام 2026، وذلك خلال الاجتماع الثالث للجنة العسكرية المشتركة بين البلدين، الذي عقد في تل أبيب هذا الأسبوع.
According to what the Israeli army spokesman said in Arabic, the meeting was held under the supervision of the Planning Directorate and the Foreign Relations Directorate in the Israeli army, with the participation of high-level military officials from both sides.
The agenda included a series of professional meetings and field tours in a number of Israeli military units, defense industries, and relevant security bodies.
The visit included a strategic forum devoted to discussing strengthening military capabilities in the long term, and identifying areas of joint cooperation and their goals between the two armies. The discussions focused on strategic planning, technological innovation, training, and operational coordination, in light of the security challenges facing the region.
The Israeli side explained that this visit comes within the framework of the continued development of security and military cooperation between the two countries, after the resumption of official relations within the Abraham Accords signed in 2020.
Military cooperation between Israel and Morocco is seen as one of the main axes in bilateral relations, five years after the resumption of diplomatic relations between the two sides.
