Head of Turkish Intelligence: Africa is of strategic importance to Ankara

The head of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization, Ibrahim Kalin, said, “The African continent is among the regions that Türkiye gives priority to, in light of its strategic acceleration.”

وأكد قالن في مقال له، بمناسبة الذكرى الـ99 لتأسيس جهاز الاستخبارات، على أن “النهج التركي يتماشى رؤية إيجاد حلول أفريقية لمشاكل القارة”.

He pointed out that “the position of Turkish intelligence built on these foundations, whether providing stability and balance in Libya, contributing to the fight against terrorism in Somalia and activity related to Sudan are all matters that attract the attention of many countries, from Chad to Niger, from Togo to Burkina Faso, and from Tanzania to Kenya, positive results are being obtained for intelligence diplomacy throughout Africa.”

He stated: “Efforts to bring peace and stability to these geographical areas, with an understanding of proactive diplomacy and strategic intelligence capabilities, will continue from now on.”
