أفادت مصادر أمنية في ليبيا أن الأجهزة المختصة بمدينة أم الأرانب تمكنت من القبض على شخص يُوصف بأنه من أخطر ممارسي السحر والشعوذة في منطقة حميرة، وذلك عقب ورود معلومات دقيقة عن نشاطه غير القانوني.

وخلال العملية، ضبطت السلطات بحوزته كتباً وطلاسم سحرية وصوراً لمواطنين كانت مخبأة في مواقع متفرقة، يُشتبه في استخدامها للإضرار بعدد من الأهالي. وأكدت المصادر أن المتهم أقر خلال التحقيقات بممارساته، فيما تمت مصادرة جميع المضبوطات وإحالته إلى النيابة العامة لاستكمال الإجراءات القانونية.

وتأتي هذه العملية في إطار جهود الأجهزة الأمنية لمكافحة أنشطة الشعوذة والسحر التي تهدد أمن المجتمع وسلامة المواطنين.
