Nigerian Foreign Minister Yusuf Maitama Togar stressed that strengthening cooperation with European partners remains a priority to support Nigeria’s priorities in the areas of security, migration and economy.

In this context, the Minister held a meeting with his Spanish counterpart, Jose Manuel Albarez, where they discussed issues of security and immigration and ways to deepen the economic partnership, in addition to engaging in Spain’s strategy towards Africa, with a focus on joint practical cooperation.

This meeting comes within the framework of Nigeria's keenness to expand its international partnerships in a way that enhances its security stability and keeps pace with its development and economic goals.
