The General Command of the Armed Forces announced that its air and ground units carried out intensive military operations during the past week, targeting the positions of the Rapid Support militias in the states of Darfur and Kordofan, in addition to their supply routes coming from southern Libya.

The Armed Forces said, in a press release issued by the Office of the Official Spokesman, that the operations resulted in the destruction of more than (240) combat vehicles, and the death of hundreds of militia members, in addition to the destruction of a number of strategic drones, bunkers, and operating stations at Nyala Airport.

The statement added that the forces on the ground were able to expel the rebel militia from large areas in the states of Kordofan and Darfur, as part of ongoing operations aimed at securing the liberated areas and establishing stability. The General Command confirmed that the armed forces, supported by the supporting forces, are continuing their military operations to destroy the remnants and remnants of the terrorist militia in all areas of their presence, stressing the need to move forward until the full military objectives are achieved.
