Tanzania maintains interest rate at 5.75% to support economic growth

أبقى بنك تنزانيا المركزي على معدل الفائدة الرئيسي عند 5.75٪ خلال اجتماع سياسة النقد لشهر يناير 2026، في ثاني استقرار متتالي بعد الاجتماع السابق.

وأوضح البنك أن هذا القرار يأتي لدعم استمرار النمو الاقتصادي، مع الإشارة إلى أن التضخم ما زال ضمن نطاق الهدف البالغ 3–5٪.وسجل نمو أسعار المستهلكين السنوي 3.4٪ في نوفمبر، منخفضًا قليلاً عن نسبة 3.5٪ في أكتوبر، مواصلًا نمط الاستقرار الملحوظ خلال السنتين الماضيتين.

ومن المتوقع أن يتوسع الاقتصاد بنسبة 5.9٪ خلال 2025، مدفوعًا بالقوة في قطاعات الزراعة والتعدين والبناء
