The Egyptian national team qualified for the semi-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations after defeating Côte d'Ivoire by a score of 3-2 in the match held at Adara Stadium in the quarter-finals.
The match witnessed intense competition between the two teams, as Omar Marmoush opened the scoring for Egypt in the third minute, and Rami Rabiaa added the second goal in the 32nd minute, before Ahmed Fattouh scored an own goal for Côte d'Ivoire.
In the second half, Mohamed Salah scored the third goal for the Pharaohs in the 53rd minute, while Côte d'Ivoire scored its second goal through Gila Dowi in the 73rd minute.
With this victory, Egypt will face Senegal in the semi-finals next Wednesday.
