Cairo: Africa Daily
Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdel Aty stressed that the private sector represents a main pillar for deepening economic relations with African countries, in addition to increasing trade exchange and attracting joint investments.
He said during a meeting with a number of senior businessmen and representatives of the private sector and Egyptian companies today (Sunday) that the ministry gives top priority to coordination with African governments and institutions to create a favorable business environment for Egyptian companies by overcoming procedural and regulatory obstacles and opening channels of communication with the concerned authorities.
Dr. Abdel Aty stressed the importance of transferring the successful Egyptian experience in various fields (because the African continent represents a promising consumer market).
The meeting discussed the importance of integrating diplomatic action and economic efforts and intensifying the participation of private sector representatives in foreign visits and economic missions.
