5 people were killed after Rapid Support targeted a market in South Kordofan with a directed march

كشفت شبكة أطباء السودان، عن مقتل 5 أشخاص وإصابة 13 آخرين، جراء استهدف قوات الدعم السريع سوق “كرتالا” في جنوب كردفان بمسيرة موجهة.

وأكدت الشبكة أن جميع الضحايا من المدنيين، حيث استهدفت مسيرة تابعة للدعم السريع سوق كرتالا، بمنطقة الجبال الستة، بولاية جنوب كردفان صباح الأحد.

وأدانت الشبكة الاستهداف المباشر للمدنيين، وحمّلت قيادة الدعم السريع المسؤولية الكاملة عن الهجوم وتداعياته، التي يمثل انتهاكاً صارخاً للقانون الدولي الإنساني وقواعد حماية المدنيين.

وطالبت شبكة أطباء السودان، المجتمع الدولي والأمم المتحدة والمنظمات الحقوقية باتخاذ خطوات عاجلة لحماية المدنيين في مناطق النزاع، والضغط على قيادة الدعم السريع لوقف الهجمات الممنهجة على الأسواق والأحياء السكنية.
