10 people were killed in a horrific collision west of Sirte, Libya

لقي عشرة أشخاص مصرعهم في حادث مرور مروع وقع على الطريق الرابط بين الوشكة وأبوقرين غرب مدينة سرت إثر تصادم عنيف بين مركبتين من نوع “فيتو”.

وأفادت وحدة المرور بأبوقرين أن الحادث أسفر عن وفاة جميع الركاب بعد اشتعال المركبتين بالكامل من بينهم ركاب من الجنسية المصرية . وقد باشرت الجهات المختصة التحقيق في ملابسات الواقعة واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة.

ويعد هذا الحادث من أكثر الحوادث دموية في المنطقة خلال الفترة الأخيرة مما يسلط الضوء على خطورة الطرق السريعة في غرب ليبيا والحاجة إلى تعزيز إجراءات السلامة المرورية.
