The Somali Ministry of Defense announces the killing of 17 Al-Shabaab members in Middle Shabelle

قالت وزارة الدفاع الصومالية إن الجيش الوطني الصومالي، وبإسناد من شركاء دوليين، نفّذ الليلة الماضية عملية جوية دقيقة ومخططاً لها استهدفت موقعاً تابعاً لحركة الشباب الإرهابية في منطقة جباد جودون بولاية شابيل الوسطى.

وأوضحت الوزارة أن الضربة أسفرت عن مقتل 17 عنصراً من الحركة، إضافة إلى تدمير كميات من الأسلحة وعدد من المركبات، مؤكدة أن العملية تأتي ضمن الجهود المستمرة لملاحقة الجماعات الإرهابية وتحييد قدراتها العسكرية.
