The Joint Forces in Darfur announced that the army and its forces had regained control of the Jargera area and its surroundings in North Darfur State, following a successful military operation that resulted in the liberation of the entire region.
Mutawakkil Ali, spokesman for the joint forces, said that members of the Rapid Support militia fled towards Colbus after suffering heavy losses, noting that 20 combat vehicles were seized and 15 others were destroyed, in addition to the capture of a number of fighters.
