Egypt loses to Senegal in the semi-finals of the African Championship

The Egyptian national football team, led by Hossam Hassan, the coach of the Pharaohs, lost this evening, Wednesday, to the Senegal national team, 1-0, in the semi-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The “Ibn Battuta” stadium in the Moroccan city of Tangier received the match between Senegal and Egypt, which was dominated by the Senegalese team.
Sadio Mane scored Senegal's goal in the 78th minute of the match.
With this result, the Senegal national team qualifies for the final of the 2025 African Cup of Nations, and awaits the winner of the match between Morocco and Nigeria, while the Egyptian national team plays the match to determine third and fourth places.
