Satellite images taken on January 17 showed intense activity at N'Djamena International Airport in Chad, where the presence of at least four IL-76TD military cargo aircraft believed to belong to the UAE was observed, three of which were on the airport's military apron, while a fourth aircraft was stationed on a small, newly established apron.

The photos also showed the presence of a Boeing 747 cargo plane belonging to Fly Pro, bearing the registration ER-BAT, on the main apron of the airport, after its arrival from Baku - Azerbaijan on January 16.

Observers believe that this intense air activity reinforces doubts about the use of N'Djamena Airport as a major logistical point in the transfer of military supplies related to the war in Sudan, amid increasing international demands to open an independent investigation into the paths of arming the parties to the conflict and the violation of arms embargo resolutions.
