Today, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi heads to the Swiss city of Davos, to participate in the work of the World Economic Forum, which continues until January 23, 2026, under the slogan: “The Spirit of Dialogue.”

Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, explained that the forum’s agenda includes a series of events with the participation of leaders of countries and heads of international and regional organizations, in addition to representatives of major private sector institutions. The forum's sessions include discussing topics of enhancing international cooperation, supporting paths to global prosperity, expanding reliance on technology and innovation as a driver of growth, as well as investing in human capital.

The official spokesman indicated that the Egyptian President will meet, on the sidelines of the forum, with US President Donald Trump, to discuss the latest regional and international developments of common interest, and to discuss ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between Egypt and the United States in a way that serves the interests of both countries and enhances regional and international stability.
