Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Mohamed Saad Barada, Minister of National Education, Primary Education and Sports of the Kingdom of Morocco, confirmed, during a phone call, the depth of the historical and fraternal relations linking Egypt and Morocco, which extend for many decades of cooperation and integration in various fields, especially in the sports and youth fields.
The two ministers stressed that sports competition must always remain within its civilized framework based on mutual respect and sportsmanship, stressing that sport represents a bridge for rapprochement between peoples, and is not a cause of disagreement, but rather is one of the effective soft power tools in strengthening relations between sisterly countries.

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi expressed his congratulations to the brothers in the Kingdom of Morocco on the great success in hosting the African Championship, praising the good organization, and stressing at the same time his complete rejection of any manifestations of fanaticism or abuse that would negatively impact the distinguished relations between the two countries or distort the image of the Arab masses.
For his part, Moroccan Minister Mohamed Saad Berrada valued this communication, expressing the Kingdom of Morocco’s appreciation for the strategic relations it has with the Arab Republic of Egypt, and stressing his country’s keenness to enhance joint cooperation and support all initiatives that contribute to consolidating the bonds of Arab brotherhood and consolidating positive values among young people.
