Tunisia: Death tolls from torrential rains rose to five, and roads were cut off due to floods

ارتفع عدد ضحايا الأمطار الغزيرة التي تشهدها تونس لليوم الثاني على التوالي إلى خمسة أشخاص وفق ما أعلنت الحماية المدنية بعد انتشال جثة في منطقة الهوارية بولاية نابل إضافة إلى أربع وفيات سُجلت في مدينة المكنين التابعة لولاية المنستير.

وأفادت الإدارة العامة للحرس الوطني في بيان الأربعاء باستمرار انقطاع عدد من الطرقات نتيجة فيضان بعض الأودية وغزارة الأمطار ما أدى إلى تعطيل حركة المرور في عدة مناطق.

وتواصل السلطات جهودها لفتح الطرقات وإغاثة المتضررين وسط تحذيرات من استمرار التقلبات الجوية وتداعياتها على البنية التحتية وحياة المواطنين.
