أسرت قوات قبيلة التبو في المعارضة التشادية جنود من الجيش النظامي عقب سيطرتها على معبر وادي الثوم الحدودي جنوب تشاد.
ونشرت قوات التبو مقطع فيديو للجنود المأسورين ردا على بدء السلطات في تنفيذ عمليات فرز وتنظيف لسجلات الرقم الوطني والوحدات السكنية.
بموازاة ذلك أظهرت مقاطع فيديو هجوم مسلح عنيف شنه ملثمين يستغلون دراجات بخارية على بلدة في الحدود التشادية الليبية.
ولم يتسنى معرفة هوية المهاجمين
