Sources specialized in tracking air traffic reported that an IL-76TD cargo plane belonging to the Belarusian company Rubystar took off from Al Reef Air Base in Abu Dhabi, and was likely headed to Harar Meda Air Base in Ethiopia. The aircraft has registration number EW-383TH and callback RSB7615.

Observers point out that this type of flight is usually used for heavy cargo operations or logistical support, pointing out that the flight path and timing aroused the interest of aviation observers, in light of the increasing air activity of aircraft of this type in the region during the recent period that is witnessing multiple conflicts.
