Turkish Ambassador to Cairo: Egyptian-Turkish rejection of Israel’s movements in the Horn of Africa

قال سفير تركيا لدى القاهرة إنّ إسرائيل تسعى إلى إيجاد موطئ قدم لها في منطقة القرن الإفريقي، ومحاولة فرض نفوذها عبر دعم مشاريع تقسيم الصومال.

وأضاف السفير أن القاهرة وأنقرة أظهرتا موقفاً مشتركاً وحازماً برفض الإجراءات الإسرائيلية المتعلقة بما يُسمّى “أرض الصومال”، مؤكداً تمسّك البلدين بوحدة وسيادة الأراضي الصومالية.

وفي سياق آخر شدد السفير على أن أنقرة ستردّ بشكل مباشر وفوري في حال تعرّضها لأي تهديد مباشر من قوات سوريا الديمقراطية.
